Shelby Turek joined DML in January 2014. She received a baccalaureate degree in Psychology with a minor in Statistics from California State University, East Bay and a second baccalaureate in Mathematics from Humboldt State University. She also has a master’s degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University. Currently, Shelby is preparing to sit for the CPA examination. A volunteer tax preparer for Tax Aid in San Francisco, Shelby has a passion for helping others. She has also volunteered at Mission Hospice in Burlingame, as well as in several Bay Area schools to provide classroom support and tutoring.
